We have a real Olsen Banden slot machine here at the office. It’s on fire when we host the famous Olsen Banden Open tournament.

Every now and then, we have demo days. On these days, we develop a completely new set of ideas together with people we normally don’t work with.

For Frederikke, walking into Better Collective was a complete change of scenery. As a culture, the work place really makes everyone feel at home. As a non-sports fanatic, working within the e-gaming industry was a new territory, but she quickly learned that Better Collective is a home for everyone: “We are here to create and maintain our great products together, and that is what bonds us all, plus, I can’t complain about the great food and masseuse.”

 

Coming from an IT Engineering background, Frederikke itches for some good data driven insights. “Through our data analysis, we get to listen directly to what our users want and need. It is from that angle that we create and optimise all of our products.” The fact that users are influencing our products fits the Better Collective culture well. “At Better Collective, everyone has an equal say. Whether you are the CEO, a user, or a Student worker, all input is taken into consideration to help make our products better.”

Guillaume felt that Better Collective was the perfect match for him from the second he stepped through the door for his first interview. As a fun-loving, talented and ambitious sports marketing specialist, Guillaume has always aspired to find balance between professionalism and playfulness. 

 

He started his career in France as PR Manager for FC Nantes. Today, Copenhagen has become his new home and he thrives in the informal, non-hierarchal working environment: “When I first started working at Better Collective, I was really surprised to meet executive staff that you can approach with ideas or questions without having to book a meeting first”, he says. “It encourages creativity that everybody can share the same dream and have fun together working towards it.”

When Radek joined Better Collective, he was almost confused as to how nice everyone was. “Compared to my past experiences; I didn’t think people could legitimately be this welcoming.” He came to accept that his co-workers were authentically happy.

“I think the company was founded with this acceptance in mind, and even though the company has more than doubled in size since I came, it is a prerogative of the founders to maintain this atmosphere.”


With a Masters degree in Russian Language, Culture, and Literature, Radek has been able to take advantage of his knowledge of Cyrillic languages to interact and communicate with freelancers across different areas of Europe.

Entering BC with knowledge unrelated to the industry was a highlight for Radek, “I may not have known much about the affiliate industry, but I joined a company that really knows what it’s doing. We have a confidence that is backed by success, and it gives us a chance to collectively contribute to a thriving business, while being proud of the unique traits we all bring to the table."

Our charming offices are located in an old warehouse in the middle of Copenhagen near Nyhavn at Toldbodgade 12. It's pretty easy to bike to the office from most places in Copenhagen. And if your bike is flat, the metro, buses and even canal boats are close by. 

We encourage an open and informal tone and an accommodating environment. If you are in the neighbourhood stop by and say hi!

This area of Copenhagen has a lot of different bars, and if you are thirsty join us Fridays at Cafe Malmø.
